I always am running lots of motors and electrical things that get warm. I’d like to be able to assess the temperature of things to make sure things are within limits and to detect problems.

So I got this infrared thermomenter. I think it’s supposed to show the human body as 97 degrees Celsius but it’s showing 94.5 degrees for some reason. I’m not sure if the human body is outside it’s range or if it needs calibration (or if there is a user error).
