I got this infrared thermometer so I could keep an eye on things.
I ran my drawbot continuously and checked the motor temperature, driver temperature and arduino temperature.
What are the temperature ranges for safety and normal operation?
I’m getting the following temperatures after continuous operation:
Easydriver stepper drivers: 60C
Stepper motors: 46C
The motors are jittering because I’m running some code from another drawbot project and I have not adapted it to my machine yet. This code assumes the motors are direct drive to the spools (I think). So I need to have a look at the code.
