New roller for CNC

I’m just out doing a few errands and came by the lab to make a couple circle cut-outs for the CNC roller system I made.

This system has been a bit of a game changer for cutting from sheet material for me. It has increased my productivity dramatically.

I’ll install and test the new roller this afternoon.

It’s a piece of PVC plumbing pipe by the way. And the roller hubs are 1/8″ hardboard.

The inner diameter of the pipe is about 1.593″. So I used that for the hubs. I cut a 13/64″ centre hole so I can easily add threads and add them to the 1/4-20 threaded rod on my roller system.
