I didn’t charge my cell phone last night. When I woke, ordinarily I’d have put it on charge so I could get through the day with it but instead I decided it was time to try my solar battery backup.
I went to a dental appointment and by the time that was wrapped up the phone went to power management mode and was threatening to shut down in minutes. I plugged the solar pack in and presto.
I kept the solar backup on it for a few hours and the phone saw some fairly heavy use (blue tooth and a telephone meeting). At 7pm, the phone was starting to run out of power again so I’ll give this thing full points for giving your phone a good boost.
The only thing that’s left unanswered is if will charge in the claimed 20h with sunlight and how useful it is given that charge time. The charge I had in it came from 120V.
