Many of you mentioned I’ve not done much work on most projects at this site or written any project related blog posts in a while.

In a nutshell I’ve moved out of ArtEngine which was helping me quite a bit. When they had the carpets cleaned they asked me to move my stuff.  That moved me from a project mode to a logistic mode as I needed to book my friends sport utility to carry the 3d printer. So I lost a bunch of hours of work. That gave me a bad feeling because I realized that this sort of discontinuity and time loss wasn’t really good timing. At the moment the 3d printer and all the rest of the projects are stored.

This sounds bad but there is a great silver lining.

The model plane project has gotten most of my attention and it has flourished. Lots of cool happenings and it has become very busy with process changes to accommodate more volume. I mean MORE VOLUME. Also more diversity.

On the bad side, the propeller project for the model planes is on hold since the 3d printer had to go to storage since all the new activity sort of displaced it. I’m not too panicky about that as I’ll get that back running soon.

Also all the new projects, robotics, arduinos, and other tinkering and experiments for the new projects has been on hold. The stuff is all piled in the closet. To be frank I’m feeling rather discouraged about all that stuff as I know that the next phase has to be some ugly logistics to get everything back to a work space.

Or just wait it out since the model plane stuff  may reach a point where there will a break as I’ll be waiting for suppliers. That might be the better angle as I’m not feeling all warm and fuzzy about trucking it all back to ArtEngine as I could find myself running around if there’s more discontinuity. When I was moving the stuff out I was feeling a little sore as it seemed no ideas came forward of a place to stash my stuff in the building during the carpet cleaning. I figured I may as well move it to the model plane lab but I could not have predicted that the model plane project would explode (there was a bit of a chain reaction after the last CBC interview).

I was just looking at the Web site traffic and noticed that when I stopped working on all projects the Web site traffic dropped as well. That’s an interesting correlation. I noticed that it jumped up when I started art projects and has been rising since.

Anyway, no need to panic. I have some stuff coming down the pipe. I’m reorganizing all my Web stuff, this site will actually get re-purposed and the content will be moved somewhere else.

The model plane stuff has become quite demanding but I’m coming to a point where all the stuff will be caught up. So I’ll be back at this again.
