I am working on a collection of perpetual motion machines that have elements of alleged machines to inspire conversation about the nature of energy and making things.
It amazes me how many people believe in perpetual motion despite lack of proof.
People with perpetual motion faith have a few things in common:
-Not experienced at making things so can’t verify their ideas (and other peoples’ ideas).
-They think the government or oil companies are hiding science to force us to buy oil.
-Little understanding with the nature of energy so may be easily mislead.
This critical-thinking-fail leads these people into intellectual ruts and they may become less productive and make poor decisions.
