ModLab-Ottawa aftersocial

We went to the pub to continue our business after Modlab.

I delivered some motor mounts for Marc-Andre’s hover craft project.

Also a prototype jackplate for Sanjay’s speaker project.

There were other projects of course.

We had a great time reflecting on the Modlab, coming up with new ideas. And solutions.

New Show at Atomic Rooster

I was in there briefly yesterday and notice the new pieces.

They change the art about once per month.

It’s always fun to see different local artists.

Ottawa WordPress Lab 000 000 000 000 000 000 001

WordPress meetup is almost over!

We have 4 people!

We went over the general concept of a blog, posts, pages, categories, tags, the admin panel, creating a blog at, adding a picture and a few other things.

Of the 4 people, we managed to get one blog created.

1h later: We’re still here. Punk rock band starting. Holly crap. It’s loud. Cool music though.

When I grow up, I want to be like them.

Tic-Tac-Toe Deployment in Pub

I brought the tic-tac-toe game to the pub to get a little action. 🙂

As you can see by the picture, people are very creative with how they play tic-tac-toe.

Perhaps I’ll make some blocks instead?

As you can see by the video, the mood in the pub wasn’t very tic-tac-toey.

Get a load of the LED stage lights. They’re pretty cool. Looks like a great LED project!

Atomic Wedding

I was in Atomic Rooster the other day with my friend Steve (for some software analysis).

We have embarked on a cool project to render numbers from real-time electricity production statistics into a form that a lay person can understand. We had a great meeting for a couple of hours.

But there was a small break. 🙂 It’s amazing what you can walk into.

To my surprise the venue was hosting a wedding. I really enjoyed seeing a wedding!
